The burger Was cooked thoroughly and not raw, the server was fantastic. The theme of a sports bar is this place, a lot of sports on the tvs a their is a very nice bar.
Pretty good drinks and someone from our group forgot their bag on the counter. Someone unfortunately took something out of it BUT when we went back the manager and bartender offered several times to comp us with a couple drinks for a mistake we made. Very friendly staff and a good photo op!
Kind of depends on what you were expecting. So, it's within a few easy steps from fancy convention hotel on waterfront or the Fl Theater or an expensive steak house. You're staying at this fancy hotel (the Hyatt) searching for a local place to eat and you see the name "bar and grill" and imagine an Applebee's. Well, it's certainly not an Applebee's. Old looking Harley out front with tail pipes cut off was my first clue. Big dude Bartender sort of friendly and attentive, yet well "adorned" other girl bartender not so attentive. Sat at bar and asked for best of their food and it was either the wings or the "Late night studio sesh" hamburger. I chose that and haven't seen this before: A double meat (pretty decent meat) with a soft fried egg on top. So many fries I couldn't eat half of them. Super salty, but good. Burger was very filling and tasty. Had a rum and coke which was decent strength. Picnic style benches and some pool tables with what looked like decent players. Sports TVs all around. Surprisingly clean bathroom! So, for convenient place to downtown, with filling bar food, and you're confident enough to walk in with your eyes pealed, then I'd recommend it.
